The new Michael Croft Theatre is a 350-seat theatre at the heart of the School, providing a focus for creative educational subjects such as drama, theatre management and set design.

The building also creates a new heart to the School with a double quad between the new and existing buildings.

The Edward Alleyn Building also includes teaching facilities and a studio theatre for use by the National Youth Theatre.

A new terrace opens off the foyer, allowing views over the playing fields. The building uses natural, hard wearing materials (such as timber, brick and stone) inside and out, to make a durable, stylish and timeless aesthetic.
